Find out what's making you sick and how to heal.
Anthony William is the medical medium.
Hello, I'm Anthony William.
You're listening to the medical medium radio show, where each week I talk about the most
advanced healing information and secrets about health, much of which is not found anywhere
else and is decades ahead of what's out there now. As I've always said, who has 10, 20,
30 years to wait for answers to their illnesses? Life is precious and there's no time to spare.
So let's start the healing now. Today's show is about the autoimmune confusion. Autoimmune
confusion. Yeah, because there's a tremendous amount of confusion around it. And there always
was and there still is today. And we're going to explore that a little bit. Every year, millions
of people are being told they have an autoimmune disease and their body is attacking itself.
You heard me there. And that's what we're told that our bodies are attacking themselves. And
that's not true. That's not true. So it couldn't be further from the truth. That's the fact.
And this is stopping countless people from getting well. So we're going to explore. We're
going to go and talk about the real truth on autoimmune diseases in this episode. Feel free
to call in so we can take a look at your health and Spirit can take a look and we can see what's
happening and we can do a little bit of a reading. So call in Canada, U.S., 866-254-1579. You know

A little bit about me.
If this is your first time and you're tuning into the show and you're wondering what's the medical medium about, what is this show about?
It all started for me at age four.
I woke up one morning, heard a voice perfectly clear as if someone was standing right next to me talking into my ear.
This wasn't a voice that was internal.
It wasn't a voice that was internal.
It wasn't kind of like a channeling thing.
It was a voice that's always there since then that talks in my ear.
about everything going on with everybody's health.
At age four, I diagnosed my grandmother of lung cancer, and it started then.
Since then, I've dedicated my entire life helping tens of thousands of people recover their health
and get the answers they need so they're not stuck so they can move forward.
So I've had to live my life only doing this, hearing spirit, giving me information about health
and illnesses and conditions and diseases and symptoms and what to do to move people forward
and get them relief and get them better. So today's talk is about autoimmune disorders.
In order to talk about autoimmune, we need to know where we stand. We need to have a benchmark.
We need to have the original benchmark. That's the only way to talk about autoimmune.
We need a foundation.
We need a starting point.
Because if we don't have that, if you guys don't have the story, if you guys don't have the truth, we're just going to be kind of talking silly because the whole point is something's wrong with the whole autoimmune illusion or autoimmune confusion.
And something is terribly wrong.
So we're going to explore all of that.
We have to see the whole picture, not just bits and pieces.
We have to see the mistakes.
We have to see the confusion.
We have to step out of our comfort zone to understand autoimmune.
And I'm going to say it again.
We have to see the mistakes.
Yeah, because there's some serious mistakes about it all.
And they're being ignored.
And it's actually unbelievable why they're being ignored.
So we're going to talk about that.
So we have to get out of our comfort zone.
We have to understand autoimmune because when it comes to a mistake, we have to be straight out about it.
Because when it comes to autoimmune, we have to take it seriously.
We can't be in any kind of denial.
I mean, think about it.
You know, what if you wanted to go to the grocery store and you wanted to pick up a box of cereal, you know, your Corn Flakes, which I don't really want you on Corn Flakes.
Say you had to go there and pick up your box of cereal, and you went down the aisle, and you saw that that spot where you go every week was empty.
And so you asked the store clerk, I drove all the way out here for this box of cornflakes.
This is my ritual.
This is what I eat every morning.
Where are they?
And the store clerk says, well, we're out of those.
Because if it's not on the shelf, we're out.
So the first thing you do is, well, can you check the back storage room?
That's what you ask the clerk.
Because you almost can't let this go quite yet, especially since this is your ritual.
It's your favorite food in the morning.
And the clerk goes in the back, and he's in the back storage room.
He's looking around, and he can't find the cornflakes.
He can't find your cereal.
So he comes back and says, no, there's nothing there.
I can't help you.
I'm sorry.
He drove all his way out there, try another cereal.
So that's not enough.
So then you go to the manager, and you ask the manager, look, I come here every week.
Where are these cornflakes?
They're always here.
I've never seen them missing once.
And the manager says, we order those.
We have a whole stock of that.
I can tell.
I see it on the sheet right here.
And he goes back with the clerk, and they look around, and they find out there's a pallet of cornflakes
somewhere buried in the storage warehouse, in the facility, in the corner, unmarked.
And they say, we're sorry.
We made a mistake.
We made a mistake.
That's okay.
It's nobody's fault.
It's a big deal.
You know, you make a mistake like that.
Who cares?
Okay, you drove out of your way and it was a hassle.
Maybe it took up a little bit more time than you thought it would.
But the honesty was there.
The honesty was there.
You get what I'm saying?
It was a simple mistake.
Who knows who made the mistake?
Maybe who even cares really about that?
Maybe it was the delivery guy.
Maybe it was the way it was brought into the building.
Maybe somebody ordered it differently.
Whatever it was, the honesty is actually kind of there because you can be humble about it.
There's no ego involved with that mistake.
There's no denial involved with that mistake.
You see? But in autoimmune, it's a different story. And listen, medical science is advancing
in so many areas. It's expanding on mechanical issues of the body, heart transplants,
organ transplants, surgeries. I'm not blind to any of that. I'm sure you're not either.
We've come far and long and there's no doubt about it. But like a car, like your car,
Parts break down.
You get new sets of brakes, right?
You get an alternator.
You get a new car battery.
That's normal parts repair, parts changing.
We're learning how to change people's parts now.
That's incredible.
That is amazing.
We're learning how to diagnostically troubleshoot the parts that are breaking down.
but if it's more complicated than that whether it's a car or your body diagnostic testing doesn't
work and it falls flat in fact it becomes a troubleshooter and once you're troubleshooting
guess what it's a guessing game and that guessing game could last a long time in fact if it's a
guessing game and each person is traveling to doctor to doctor. Is that you? Maybe you might
have done that and you're looking for answers because you're still not feeling good and it's
a troubleshooter. That's right. So we get forced to guess. The medical communities get forced to
guess about chronic illness because this guessing game can last a long time. And one way to deal
with the guessing game is to throw labels and stamps on people, regardless of knowing the cause.
So throwing labels and stamps on people. So diagnostic testing fails and people slip
through the cracks. Have you slipped through the cracks? Maybe somebody did out there that's
listening. No one wants to slip through the cracks. And what do I even mean slipping through the
cracks? What does it even mean? It means slipping through the cracks of the medical system that
fails us in chronic illness. And remember, it doesn't fail us in other areas. It's going better
now in other areas. It's changed. It's changing. But the area where over 200 million people in the
U.S. alone are having some symptoms, it's unexplainable. And if it's explained,
it's a label that's not really the cause and you don't move forward. That's serious. That's really
serious. That overpowers all the heart disease, all the heart transplants, all the liver transplants
that overpowers all of it because there's an army of people not getting answers and these
tags and labels are being thrown on them and it all slips through the cracks.
There are millions of people dealing with mystery illness such as autoimmune and they go on the
healing merry-go-round. I mean, have you been on the healing merry-go-round?
Maybe you've been there before. I get it. I really do. Maybe you're one of us that's been on that
healing merry-go-round, doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist, looking for relief
and answers, but not getting any real answers or lasting results. In chronic illness, we haven't
made a dent in medical research and science. Whoa, that's like a bold statement. That's a
major, major bold statement. How dare I say that? Medical science and medical research. After all,
I hear from a voice, a voice that tells me that spirit does trump science. That means that the
spiritual realm trumps science. So the voice does tell me that. Now, like I said, I'm not doubting
we're not moving forward, but when it comes down to autoimmune, and I'm going to explain,
and it comes down to chronic illness, we haven't made a dent with medical research and medical
science finding things. We're in the dark ages. How can I say that? I mean, how can I really say
that I get it. I hear what I'm saying right now, but we still are in the dark ages. Let me give you
an example. Okay. If you don't believe me, if you're, you're on the fence right now,
check this out. Hashimoto's. Do you know what Hashimoto's is? Hashimoto's is that illness,
the thyroid disease, thyroid condition that when you go to the doctor, the numbers aren't right
on the blood test, we get told we have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Well, let me tell you something.
Back in the early 1900s, that's when that was discovered. It was named Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
Basically what that meant was no one knew what was wrong with someone's thyroid at all. Besides,
there was inflammation possibly present. Inflammation possibly present in the early 1900s.
they figured this out. So they just threw a label on Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
And what that means, that's a tag and label that means no one knew what was causing the
inflammation. Hey, back in the early 1900s, nobody knew, right? Well, hey, no one probably
knew anything. I mean, is that kind of how we feel, especially in medicine? No one knew what
was going on. And so that's expected. We expect that. We do. But you have to know something,
something that's unbelievable, that we are still a hundred years away from that, a hundred years
later. And it's the same. There's no known cause. We don't know what causes the label that was
given for just your inflamed thyroid. That's progress for you. How about that? Is that progress?
So if you're sitting there and you're like, what's he talking about? What does he mean?
He's got to hear it out a little bit. He got to, you know, maybe fasten the seatbelts
and hang in there for the ride because it's serious business. You know why it's serious
business because if we're not straight out and honest about something, nothing's going to change.
I mean, can you imagine 30 years from now, we still don't know what causes Hashimoto's.
We don't know how to treat it and we don't know what to do about it.
And we're going to do another thyroid show, by the way, we're going to go in even greater detail.
And in my book, I talk about it in great detail as well.
So where's the honesty if we're not honest about this?
How do we get out of something called the medical denial?
How do we leave that place?
Look, I mean, a lot of things need to be overhauled out there, right?
A lot of things.
So I get it.
There's so many areas that have to be cleaned out and garbage dumped out and overhauled and moved forward and attention paid to.
So many areas in our society, in medicine, in every angle possible.
But if we just can't get one little bitty piece of it, then whoa, one little bit, one
little obvious thing maybe.
And the reason why we can't get out of the way is because the medical world has an addiction.
It's an addict.
It's an addict.
The addiction of having answers, of having to have the answers.
But like all addictions, we have to come out of something called denial, right?
If you're addicted to chocolate cake, if you're addicted to smoking, you have to be straight out.
You have to be honest.
You have to be open.
You can't be in denial.
And I'm not saying it's something that's wrong smoking or it's wrong eating too much chocolate cake every single day if that's something someone likes.
I'm not saying that you're a bad person.
I'm just saying if you're doing it, fine.
But if we're honest about it, that's the biggest step.
That's the biggest step.
If we're honest, we still don't know 100 years later when a woman goes to the doctor and is told she has Hashimoto's.
We don't have a clue.
Literally, it means we don't know anything.
And here's a pill.
We don't know anything.
That's what it means.
So where do we go with these addictions?
What if we're not honest?
you know what if we don't just say it okay look you know the cornflakes big deal you know it will
suit who cares you know who cares the cornflakes is just one thing and say someone wasn't honest
about that say someone wasn't being straightforward and you walked out of that store and didn't have
what you came to that store for and you went home kind of broken a little bit about it because it
It was a big hassle that day.
When we're talking about health on this level, when we're talking about decades of our children,
when we're talking about our daughters, and then our daughters' daughters, and then our sons, and our sons' sons,
and when we're talking about our grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and this isn't getting fixed or rectified,
this is a disaster.
This is a disaster.
So what do we have to be honest about?
What about this denial thing?
Let me tell you, okay?
It's what spirit calls the great mistakes.
The great mistakes.
That's what spirit tells me all the time.
Spirit says, you know what, Anthony, one of the jobs you have on this planet while you're still here is to rectify some of the great mistakes.
Because if you don't, if you don't, if you're not that messenger and you don't take the information that I'm giving you and you don't try to clear the record a little bit and make that dent, we're going to be sitting in here for generations and decades to come unless you actually do your part.
And that's what spirit tells me.
That's what spirit tells me.
So the great mistakes is what spirit always reminds me about.
And I'm like, yeah, I've heard these mistakes for years and years and years, spirit.
And spirit wants me to do something about it.
And so, hey, let's talk about these great mistakes.
See, if these mistakes aren't corrected, we're going nowhere fast in chronic illness.
Let's talk about the first greatest mistake right here.
It's autoimmune.
It's a tag put on you to blame your body telling you that that's why you're sick,
because your body's attacking itself.
I know I've said that before, but that's what it is.
It's a blame game because the medical communities are in such denial.
They don't want it.
They're such addicts that they don't want to give that part up.
They don't want to say, we don't know.
We're not doing our job.
The funding and the research isn't there.
So it's your fault, Mrs. Jones.
It's your fault, Mrs. Ferguson.
It's your fault.
and it's your body attacking itself.
Do we really have to be that far behind?
It's so sad.
It's so sad.
I'm passionate about it because I see the suffering.
I've seen the suffering for decades in my own life,
out there watching people.
So what do we do about this?
If this tag is blamed on you
and you're told your body's attacking itself,
if I was told that, I'd go home that day.
I'd be eating dinner and I would just be focused on the fact that my body was destroying myself.
And you have to understand, our bodies do not attack itself.
It is further from the truth.
For years, I have heard people say, my body's letting me down.
My body's totally messing around with me.
It's not there for me.
It doesn't love me.
It doesn't like me.
It's destroying itself.
It's attacking itself.
And I've heard that from people for years and years and years.
And thank God, thank God spirit knows better over science.
And when someone says, well, what do you know?
You know, science is science.
Well, I know this.
I know that our bodies don't attack themselves because the medical communities don't know the cause.
So they're telling us that spirit knows that at least.
Okay.
That's one thing, one thing out of hundreds.
So spirit trumps science in this situation.
I'm sorry, but it does.
So you have to understand that this misconception needs to be reversed in your mind.
You need to know that that's the last thing your body does.
But there's a problem because this great mistake comes with not just telling you that you have RA, rheumatoid arthritis.
You have Hashimoto's.
You have celiac.
You have type 1 diabetes.
You have colitis, you have whatever lupus, whatever it is.
And many of these illnesses go on the autoimmune list of diseases.
They weren't before.
And then what?
Some of them come off the list.
Some of them go on the list.
Who's right?
Who's wrong?
Apparently science really isn't happening.
It's not the doctor's fault.
It's never the doctor's fault in this situation.
This is up on the chain, the food chain.
And what happens is that this mistake carries on to our alternative field.
You heard me, our alternative medicine field, our functional medicine field, because that field believes the same thing.
That's how twisted this became.
You have to hear this.
It got so twisted that the natural world of healing, medicine, alternative medicine, believes your body's attacking itself as well.
Oh, sure, there's natural approaches, which means a lot.
That's incredible.
But the same thought is there.
Remember I told you the benchmark?
If we don't go back, if we don't fix these mistakes, if we don't reverse this and go back to those original benchmarks, how the heck is anything going to turn around?
if our alternative world bought into it, we are so getting lost.
So you hearing this can shift that.
You knowing this can shift this.
It spreads when you know the truth.
And that's what's happening.
That's what I'm hoping is happening too.
So one of the things that happens in alternative medicine is
alternative medicine is blaming grains.
You know, grains, oatmeal and everything, wheat, barley, oatmeal, you name it,
saying that that causes autoimmune.
That's kind of like a half-truth.
Because what about all the people that can eat anything they want
until they're 90 years old, 80 years old?
What about them?
Well, when you say that, somebody will say, well, they got genes.
That's not correct.
That's not correct at all.
That's a bad road to head down, blaming genes.
Once we're blaming genes, it's another bad destructive habit because then you think your genes are faulty.
And where does that leave you?
That leaves you not liking yourself or liking your body or loving your body.
How destructive is the gene theory?
It is dangerously destructive.
And one of the great, great mistakes that we are running into now, which is the genes.
It's on your genes.
It's you.
It's all about that.
And it's not.
So what about the people who can eat all the different bread they want, the wheat, the rice, any kind of grain, all the processed food they want, you name it, and they don't have autoimmune and they're not diagnosed with autoimmune and their body doesn't seem to be attacking itself, the wrong information to begin with.
What about them?
Because there's something else that's causing our chronic illness today.
That's why they can eat the way they eat.
There's something else that they don't have that they don't have in their system that someone else has in their system that's causing an illness.
And we're still decades from knowing this.
We're still decades from knowing this.
So until the truth surfaces and we learn that there are real causes, then we will finally move forward.
Let's talk about a third mistake.
So we talked about the gene as being a second mistake.
I kind of skipped over pretty quick.
The autoimmune is the first mistake.
Let's talk about the third mistake.
The third mistake is mystery illness, the misconception.
What has happened is they just care about a small group of people,
maybe six people out in Idaho,
maybe eight children out in Colorado that fell ill,
and doctors couldn't figure out why they had the fever and what was going on.
They package this into something called mystery illness
because they want us to believe, meaning the medical communities,
The medical model wants us to believe that everything else isn't a mystery, that your Hashimoto's isn't a mystery.
It's unbelievable.
They want you to think that your rheumatoid arthritis isn't a mystery when it still is, what's causing it.
Inflammation, that's okay, sure, cute.
That's cute and fuzzy and warm.
But that's not an answer.
So this way you believe that no matter what you've been diagnosed with, no matter what you have, that that's not a mystery at all.
You just happen to be sick and you're going to be sick for decades and, whoa, we can't help you.
Can't help you, ma'am.
Can't help you, mister.
And that's the mistake.
We're supposed to tag all these chronic illnesses, mystery illness.
We have to be honest.
Remember I told you about the denial?
If we're an addict about something, if we're addicted to something, we have to come clean, man.
We have to come clean. And if we don't come clean here, right here in this time period, nothing's going to change. I don't care what TV shows are doing health. I don't care whoever's talking about what books are written. Nothing's going to change the way it needs to unless we're clear on these great mistakes.
know that unless we're clear on these great mistakes.
So mystery illness is that big one.
That's another big one.
The third, I mean, the fourth mistake, the fourth is labels.
Labels to appease us.
Labels.
So we have a name for our aches and pains.
We have a name for our fatigue.
This is all cute and warm and fuzzy too for a little while because it makes us content
and makes us feel safe, but we take the bait.
because there shouldn't be a label on this
because it's the wrong label to begin with
because nobody knows what's causing it.
Nobody knows what's wrong.
We're still back in time when it comes to chronic illness,
not heart transplants.
I'm talking about chronic illness.
And we still don't even know what breaks down the heart.
Medical science, medical research still doesn't know,
you know, all the different heart diseases.
They really don't know what's happening yet.
So there's a half mystery along with that.
What happens is with the labels is it's a bait and switch.
I talked about that before.
We take the bait because we're desperate.
We need answers.
But the medical community doesn't want to come out of medical denial.
They don't, so they give you a tag.
You go home with a tag like Hashimoto's.
And this is what happens.
See, like Hashimoto's, Hashimoto's is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus.
And that's the truth.
You can document it right here, right now.
I talk about it in my book.
That's what causes Hashimoto's.
That's the one bug.
There's not another bug.
There's lots of bugs out there, but that's the one bug that causes Hashimoto's.
It's Epstein-Barr.
When are they going to discover it?
You can document this radio show, and you'll see down the road.
I knew what I was talking about because spirit knows.
Not me, but spirit knows.
And spirit's never let me down all these decades.
So how long is it going to take before they figure out a simple discovery such as that?
And that's what's inflaming the thyroid.
Understand that our bodies don't attack itself.
It doesn't.
That has to be rectified that we have other things in our body that we live with.
Other things.
So when it comes down to autoimmune, there's many different strains of viruses.
There's many different bacteria.
There's heavy metals such as mercury and aluminum, copper, arsenic.
There's chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, coupled with all the deficiencies we have in our body.
So we walk around with deficiencies.
And yeah, sure, eating a processed food diet for years could give us a deficiency and set the stage.
Exactly.
We can have these deficiencies.
And then we can add stress into the making as well.
That's another thing. But funding and research and science needs to dive headfirst into learning and discovering the causes for these conditions so we can move forward and millions and billions of dollars can go in the right avenues and the right direction.
And if it's not going to happen fast, then we'll just keep on chipping away at the stone.
We'll keep on doing the radio shows. We'll keep on putting out the books and we'll get the information to you because you deserve it.
You know why you really do deserve it. You deserve the truth that you deserve. You deserve the honesty. You deserve the truth. You deserve the help. You deserve the assistance because when it comes down to chronic illness, how much assistance is really out there?
years ago there was virtually none if in fact you'd be lucky if there was any at all now we
have a little bit we're a little bit more open-minded there is some assistance to some
degree but it's it's fractional it's fractional compared to what it needs to be you know when it
comes down to destroying ourself doing something that's not good for us there's plenty of assistance
there if you want to drink you want to drink yourself to a stupor i'm sure a bartender will
just hand you a drink. You know, another drink will serve you. I'm sure if you wanted to do so,
you want it to bungee jump. Somebody's going to put a rubber cord on your leg and push you off
the bridge. If you want to do zip lining, hey, that's fun. Someone's going to, you know, lock
you into there and send you on a zip line down a mountain. That's great. But anytime there's
assistance for that, someone's going to help you. Everybody's going to help you when you need
assistance to destroy yourself in any way or do something that's not productive or whatever. You
want to watch TV all night, that TV. If you want to drive your car in 100 miles an hour in a 50
mile an hour lane, your gas pedal will assist you. Your car will assist you. There's plenty
of assistance there. You can go 100 miles an hour. You've got all the assistance you want.
If you want to do something silly or stupid, the assistance is always there, jammed, packed,
always ready, available. That's what it's there. But when it comes down to chronic illness and it
It comes down to getting handed something like autoimmune label without even the mere understanding that medical communities even have about it and what causes what and what does what.
And we're handed this stuff.
There's no assistance.
It's really not there.
Maybe some of you know what I'm talking about.
Maybe we do.
So in the future, you know, we're going to be covering these.
We're going to be covering all the different illnesses, all the different labels, all the different tags.
We're going to cover.
And so we pan that out.
We hear what we need to hear.
We understand what we need to hear.
Just like Hashimoto's, spirit knows what causes that.
We're going to cover the rest.
We just can't cover 400 illnesses and conditions with labels today in this show.
But we're going to do it over time.
And I put a heck of a lot of them in the book, too.
And we're going to keep on doing that.
See, it's important to know the truth so you can heal.
Let's talk about some of the things for autoimmune.
So spirit has some foods that are important that are universal to most autoimmune conditions, just so you know.
These are universal because we all have a residue of each other, meaning that means we're all connected in some way as a human species.
So certain things work, no matter if we're inflamed or whatever the name of the condition is.
There are certain foods that are helpful for all of us.
So apples, don't be afraid of apples.
Red Delicious apples, that's a powerful apple.
Did you know the Red Delicious apple, it reduces brain inflammation.
Brain inflammation, which is huge in chronic illness,
all the way from mystery Lyme to CFS, you name it,
to RA, to rheumatoid arthritis, brain inflammation.
Apples really help.
Honeycrisp apples, green.
You know, you can do the green apple, right?
We can do those, Granny Smith, but the other ones have more in them.
They do.
Cilantro, that's another one because a lot of times many of us have a high heavy metal level.
Now, it's going to take time for science to know the difference between how much copper is in somebody's system really truly,
how many minerals are missing, how much mercury is in someone.
That's going to come.
Spirit knows this information, and we're going to explore it along the way.
But get some cilantro in your diet.
If you're someone who can't stand cilantro, let's bring in parsley.
Parsley does remove heavy metals.
That's very helpful for any kind of condition that has been thrown,
you know, or misconception condition that's been thrown on you.
Because I know you're suffering.
I know you're dealing with real things.
But this really matters for someone that's been handed a label
or told that their body's attacking themselves with autoimmune.
Another thing, wild blueberries.
I talk about wild blueberries because it's the most powerful food on planet Earth.
It's the strongest food on planet Earth.
It can survive everything from Arctic freezes for thousands of years to no sun.
It has survived anything and everything.
And if you burn it to the ground, it grows right back.
That's what happens with us.
We get burned to the ground by nonsense, too, just like what's happening, everything I'm exploring in this show.
And wild blueberries help restore us.
They're powerful anti-inflammatory.
They clean up the liver.
Very important.
They actually feed good bacteria in the gut and kill off bad bacteria.
Papaya, that's another one.
Meridol papaya.
Remember, that's the big papayas.
Don't get the small papaya.
Spirit does not like the small papaya.
Spirit likes the big meridol, M-A-R-A-D-O-L papaya, packed with nutrition.
What I mean by that, it restores the linings of intestinal tracts.
People with autoimmune diagnoses or different mystery conditions with different labels.
People have all kinds of different digestive tract disorders because of it.
Papaya is amazing.
If you got digestive distress of any kind or some kind of disorder, that's incredible for you.
Spinach.
Baby spinach is really good.
That's a good one for any kind of autoimmune condition.
We can just call it that for now if that's what we're used to.
But spinach is great for that.
Butterleaf lettuce has omega-3s.
They're not even tested by science yet in the heart of butterleaf lettuce.
These are powerful omega-3s for our organs and our nervous system.
So butterleaf lettuce is great.
Celery juice.
I know I probably sound like a broken record, but 16 ounces of celery juice once a day.
And if you can't handle that, you do eight ounces.
You do it on an empty stomach if you can in the morning.
If you can do six ounces, do that.
Whatever you can do, that one right there is amazing for all autoimmune.
Avocado, perfect.
It's a perfect food for anybody who's sensitive, hypersensitive from chemical sensitivities,
which is involved with autoimmune, from exposure to things, from you name it.
That's how great avocado is.
And for the digestive problems as well.
Cauliflower.
We're going to do a, you know, fads and trends and misconceptions show about what foods, you know, like for instance, cauliflower, broccoli.
People are saying don't use that for your thyroid if you have a hypothyroid or Hashimoto's.
That's not true.
I talked about it in one of the archive shows.
I'm going to talk about it soon again too.
So that's a great one, cauliflower.
Sprouts.
Sprouts is one of the ultimate foods.
You have to understand, if you bring these in, you keep them in your life any way you can, it's really helpful.
Sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, red clover sprouts, clover sprouts, sunflower greens, micro greens.
Consider those because those are extremely helpful to move you forward.
We can do something about it.
We're not trapped.
We're not trapped just because these great mistakes are not being rectified yet.
You can blow past that.
You can move past that.
and you can heal.
And we're going to work on doing it.
We're going to keep on doing it.
Top supplements for any autoimmune is zinc.
So that's the top supplement.
You can look into the zinc that I like best
if you go to the website and everything else.
Liposomal C.
Don't get any kind of liposomal C.
You want a special kind made from sunflower.
So if you go look up a liposomal C,
L-I-P-O-S-O-M-A-L,
If you look that vitamin C up, you'll see that you want the one with sunflowers, made out of sunflowers.
So you just have to look for that.
That's a different type of ascorbic acid because we don't like ascorbic acid.
This is the one that helps.
And you do a small amount of this if you're dealing with autoimmune.
Spirulina, barley grass juice powder.
My favorite brand is Vimergy.
Barley grass juice powder, I put that on my site as well.
Hawaiian spirulina, that's for metals.
That's also for nutrients and micronutrients to restore the nervous system, the brain.
Red clover tea, red clover blossoms and you make a tea out of it to cleanse the liver,
to help recover from autoimmune.
Selenium, another great one.
And red marine algae, red marine algae.
All these matter.
They all do.
and incorporate if you can.
You take one day at a time and you just see what happens.
So anyway, we're going to take some calls.
Thank you for riding through that storm.
And we're going to start with line three, Amy.
Hey, Amy.
Thank you so much for taking my call.
Sure, sure.
I think you're disappearing on me too.
Oh, no. Can you hear me?
Yeah, barely. Go ahead. I'm going to try.
Oh, gosh.
My daughter, she's nine years old.
She seems to be taking after me.
And right now she's having joint pain, celiac disease, low vitamin D levels, food allergies, severe nausea, severe abdominal pain, digestion delay.
They did two endoscopies on her, and they found that she was completely inflamed in her intestines.
And she's having insomnia.
She is losing weight rapidly.
She's in a lot of pain, and she's not sleeping.
And no one is helping.
Okay.
How long has it been happening?
It's been happening gradually since 2013, but then she got a concussion last January, and it really sped up.
And she's been in bed pretty much since July.
Okay.
What you have to do, one of the things you have to do is you have to keep her moving a little bit,
even though she's in bed a lot and she's inflamed and she's feeling what she's feeling.
There could be a pattern, meaning this happens when people get hit.
First of all, she's battling a virus.
She's dealing with a low-grade viral issue.
That's happening.
That's number one.
So the doctors have to know that this is virus.
So what you have to do is you have to keep on knocking on doctors' doors until you get one doctor who's got a light bulb on his head that knows it's viral.
There's some great doctors out there.
You know, I talk about how, you know, it's difficult out there in many ways, but there's some unbelievable doctors out there.
So you have to knock on a guy's door or a woman's door, and you have to see if they get the viral thing and understand that she's dealing with a low-grade virus that's being undetected in the blood work.
That's the first step and most important step.
That's number one.
It's important.
Yeah.
Number two, you've got to keep her moving.
What happens with children, I've seen this over and over again, is when they get sick and they don't move anymore,
it becomes a bad mess because children are different than grownups when grownups don't move.
When grownups don't move, grownups have a different kind of will inside of them that pushes themselves out of bed
and gets them to move around a little bit.
The little ones, they get sedentary.
They get scared.
They get frightened.
It's serious.
This is serious stuff.
And you know that.
Look what you're going through.
But we have to be careful.
We've got to keep her moving.
We've got to keep her active.
If we could sit her up as long as we can in longer times, just sit her up in a chair, get her comfortable watching TV if that works, have her try to do coloring books.
But you have to keep her mind engaged.
You have to keep her moving.
If she takes little walks and can take little walks, you do that.
This is critical.
She might say, no, no, no.
I don't want to do that.
it hurt too much, you still have to get her moving a little.
That's number two.
That's really critical.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Been down this road hundreds of times in the last 30 years.
So that's the second thing you have to do.
The other thing is, of course, you have to know she's heard.
Because she's going to keep on telling you the same thing about her illness
and about what's happening.
And you have to know.
She has to know she's being heard.
Okay.
That right there is really, really critical because you're frantically trying to get help.
You are in a crisis state because of this, watching your daughter go through this,
and you have to kind of center yourself.
You have to still listen to her, and you have to know how to balance that.
Yes.
All right, so that's the other thing you have to do.
But you've got to find a doctor, whether it's a functional doctor or a natural doctor,
or even a conventional one that knows it's viral, and then will do some different blood work.
You know, Spirit tells me one of the viruses she's dealing with, because she's dealing with
two viruses. One is in the shingles family. That's one of the viruses. It's not the shingles,
so to speak, when you get a rash that rips across you, although that could happen.
But it's one of the different varieties that is causing the inflammation and the pain,
and it's affecting the nerves. What she's feeling is nerve-related. That's what it's all about.
So that's number one.
So you have to talk to a doctor about that.
The other virus she has is a variety of Epstein-Barr.
I call it juvenile Epstein-Barrs.
And these are what the little ones get.
They get these Epstein-Barrs really young.
They get them when they're two years old, three years old.
Then it disappears.
It may come back with some swollen tonsils or it might do something else.
And then it does something different and it goes into this land of inflammation.
So I would bring that information to keep on doctor shopping.
Don't be afraid to fire your doctors.
You can fire them like lawyers.
You could fire them like the guy that's, you know, the guy that, you know, like you could fire them like any.
If you're not getting what you need, you could let them go.
And if they're giving you, if they're being supportive, you keep them because this is a crisis state and you can't, you can't put others before your daughter in this crisis state.
You don't think it's Lyme.
Now, you know, I would listen to the Lyme show I did, number one, last week.
I would read the Lyme chapter in my book so you understand Lyme so we don't make a Lyme mistake.
Okay.
Okay?
Because the other mistake I've seen is it's diagnosis Lyme because I talked about it in my last week's show.
Every single illness, that's a mystery to all doctors, is going to be funneled into just one label,
and it's going to be the Lyme label, and there's a lot of blunders happening with it.
I don't know why we don't learn, but decade after decade, a lot of little girls and little boys have been misdiagnosed with it,
and treatment wasn't wise, and they suffered greatly.
What I'm saying, as you go to the doctors and you try to find someone that understands viral, so that's what you've got to do,
keep her hydrated, make sure she's eating a few fruits and vegetables she likes or some potatoes or something that she might like.
I don't want her just to eat macaroni and cheese while she's going through this.
is what can I do about the severe abdominal pain?
That's the pain that I talked about, that if we keep her sedentary, it gets worse.
So that's what I'm trying to tell you.
She has to keep moving.
You have to keep her moving.
You have to engage.
You've got to listen to the show and listen to every step I said full throttle
and make sure you're doing it.
I've been waiting for your book for like a month now.
Yeah, no, I've been waiting for it too.
I'm waiting for a copy too.
I think it's going to come hopefully tomorrow or something or the next day.
I've been waiting for a copy.
I don't have a copy.
And so here's the deal though.
Listen to those steps and make sure you're keeping her moving because when the little ones have abdominal pain, that's nerve pain in the abdomen.
Nerve pain, okay.
Listen, I've dealt with this.
I've gotten kids back to where they need to be with the same situation you're in.
And if you don't engage enough and keep them moving a little, that nerve pain in the stomach puts them in such fear they end up just laying there.
And that's not good.
What part of this is in your book?
Well, you know, first of all, what's not in the book is you have to go and find a doctor to understand you have a viral issue on your hands.
Is there a go to an infectious disease doctor or not?
No, you have to go to any doctor that will understand and listen to you.
Okay.
What do I ask them to test for?
You just have to tell them it's viral and then let them do that part because if they're open to it, then they'll find it.
If they're not open to it, they're not going to look.
You just have to go and do that first.
Okay.
All right. And then, yes, there are. I talk a detail about the shingles and the different families and the Epstein bars and other viruses and bugs in the book.
So, yes, there's information there and in case histories and everything else.
But that's what you have to do. Amy, you're amazing. Hang in there.
I love you. And just she's going to get through this.
She's going to get through this and she's going to get better.
But one more quick question. Yeah.
I'm sorry, but I have this as well, and so does my other daughter.
She's coming up right behind.
Did I give this to them?
No, you didn't.
So no guilt.
I don't need any guilt.
I don't need you to have you to have any guilt in this situation right now.
Okay?
So that can't exist while you're in this state.
All right?
So remember that.
All right.
All right. Bless you, Amy. So, yeah. So we have Kimberly line one. So hi, Kimberly.
Hi. How are you? Oh, I've been better, of course. I've been struggling a lot lately.
Any fatigue at all?
that's what spirit says anyway that's funny yeah lots and um you know i'll be 49 and two weeks
from today and i've been doing this since i was 22 well you're still young that's for sure thank
goodness yeah yeah no you're you know 49 is a great year um so it's happened it's happened for
years has been happening going on since uh since you were in your 20s or teens uh my early 20s like
right after i had my daughter um yeah and i was going through a stressful period in my life
and it started off with stomach cramps and enough to send me to the emergency room i got diagnosed
with ibs yeah which and i went downhill from there and then it was fibromyalgia chronic fatigue
syndrome. But mainly, I mean, I'm dealing with all of that, but then I had cancer in 2007.
And then after I finished chemo and radiation, I gained 80 pounds in one year eating mostly salad
and I can't get rid of this. Yeah. It's not the salad's fault.
You know what? You have a sense of humor after all this. You actually are giggling.
I had to because otherwise I wouldn't be here.
Well, you know what?
Listen, I've got to tell you, I'm proud of you, okay?
Thank you.
Because to keep a light heart after going through all that,
after going through everything I talk about in my book
and everything I talk about here about what people go through in their suffering
and not getting the answers they need and they come in these labels,
you have a sense of humor, and I'm blown away by that.
That means everything.
People say, well, you know, Anthony, you laugh a little too much.
Well, you know there's reasons.
There's reasons because look what you're going through, and we have to stay as lighthearted as we can through this.
Absolutely.
That's number one.
The salad wasn't what caused that.
You had a real hypothyroid occur.
After everything you've been through, the thyroid just decided to go kind of south, and the radiation got into the thyroid really deep.
There's 5% of our thyroid conditions are radiation-based.
The other 95% is Epstein-Barr.
but the thyroid is radiation based. That's what really kind of bonked out there. And the weight
all came on and the liver too, because of what you went through, the liver got real sluggish,
real slow. And, and that's what occurred there as far as it became a pre fatty liver and it got
real dense and slow and hard. And so, um, so what I would do is first of all, don't stop eating
salads. Number one, don't be afraid of that. Make sure you're, make sure you're eating as many
fruits and vegetables as you can bring in. And regardless of what you like, if you like animal
protein or not, don't overdo the animal protein with, with your liver, like it is don't overeat
it. Don't overdo it. So, um, so make sure that you're, you're, you know, lowering the animal
proteins just enough. And then you bring in more fruits and vegetables for the liver. So the liver
can kind of do some cleansing and healing. A barley grass juice powder is amazing for the liver.
So barley grass juice powder, I talk about the one that I like the best on my website and everything, and it's Vimergy.
And then the other thing is celery juice.
Celery juice is the other thing, too, is you try to do six ounces, eight ounces.
And are you going to a natural doctor and all that?
You've been to 20 of them?
I'm done with doctors right now.
Yeah, yeah, I understand completely.
I understand.
He keeps handing me sheets of paper that tell me to eat less and exercise more.
Yeah, you want the adeno sil...
Yeah, that's...
You're making me laugh, okay?
You're making me laugh today.
The adeno silcobalamin I always talk about, Kimberly, make sure you focus on that.
That's the other thing.
And there's an article where in Goop Magazine, so G-O-O-P, Goop Magazine, I would go to that
magazine and read the article that was published on me there.
That will explain a lot of what you're going through.
I have to let you go, Kimberly.
You're amazing, and I just adore you.
Do you just see any virus left?
No, you still have some left.
That's why I want you to read that article.
So I want you to go and do that.
Just know you're amazing, and I stand behind you.
You will move forward.
Do these things that I was telling you, and just start with that,
but we're going to forge ahead.
So bless you.
It's so great to have you on the line.
So we're coming to the end of the show, my not-so-favored part.
Mark your calendar for next week's show at 5 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Pacific,
where I will be talking about debunking health fads.
Health trends catch on like wildfire in our world today,
and there's a lot of silly ones really amping up,
and we have to not waste our time on those.
I don't want you wasting your time.
That is really annoying all on its own,
knowing that you're devoting energy and time while you're not feeling good
on a health trend or a fad that really isn't doing much of anything or it's not doing what
it's supposed to. So really, you need to know these different ones. Some of them could be
destructive. It's vitally important to know which health fads could be good or ones preventing you
or wasting your time and preventing you from being healed or healing. So I want to share
about these health fads. Remember to go to my website, medicalmedium.com and order my new book,
Medical Medium, which is coming out tomorrow. That is so fun because everybody's going to stop.
They're not going to say, hey, where is it? Where is it? So that's going to give me some relief.
So anyway, so get the book Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal
and make sure you get the free gifts with it. It includes a three-hour audio course that I
did so that you have additional information. How can you not want that? Because we have to heal.
You can also get to a private members-only Facebook group where I answer health questions for everybody.
Look, follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
Every day I post the healing powers of different fruits and vegetables.
Listen, it's about you.
That's why I'm here.
Spirit gave me this information so that you don't have to wait another 30 years in your life
and wait for an answer to what's happening now.
I love you.
Be well.
Take one step at a time.
Bye-bye.
